CENTENNIAL, Colo. — The jury reached a verdict in the Aurora theater shooting case Thursday afternoon. James Holmes was guilty on all 165 counts. The jury did not buy his insanity defense.

The jury went home Thursday and will return Wednesday morning, July 22 for the start of the penalty phase. The same jury will determine whether Holmes gets the death penalty or life in prison without parole.
